I.O.Me254 is now an implementor of the O.I Lead Initiative, building on its training workshops that range from digital literacy to design thinking.
The O.I Lead Initiative is a continental programme focused on building digital and innovation skills in underserved communities. As an implementor, I.O.Me254 will deliver structured training tracks across both labs covering digital literacy, design thinking, and product development fundamentals.
The first cohort starts in December and will run across eight weeks. Participants will move through modules on using digital tools for work, understanding how to identify problems worth solving, and the basics of prototyping. Each module ends with a practical output — something built, something documented, something shared.
This partnership extends what we already do. Our training programmes have reached over 400 people in the last two years. The O.I Lead structure gives us a framework to go deeper and track outcomes more rigorously.
If you are interested in joining the December cohort or want to refer someone from your community, reach out to us directly at either lab or through the contact form on this site.
